About Community Heroes
Community Heroes is a nonprofit organization built to help real-life superheroes (RLSH) collaborate with their local nonprofits and help these costumed activists use their online audiences to spotlight local issues.
Members of Community Heroes are costumed activists all over America that engage in community outreach, feeding the homeless, helping the less fortunate, cleaning up litter, speaking up for the voiceless, and much more.
All RLSH members have undergone background checks to build trust with their community. You don’t need superpowers to be a hero, and with your help we can build a better tomorrow.
What is a real-life superhero?
A real-life superhero is a person who wears a costume or mask while performing some form of community service or activism.
There are hundreds of real-life superheroes around the world, all trying to better their communities in some way.
Real-life superheroes stop fights if they come across them, but do not seek them out. Itβs important to clarify that a real-life superhero is not a vigilante or crime fighter. This is real activism with a theatrical flair.
